The Dolphins will be without two starters for their early road game against the Chicago Eagles Philadelphia this evening Sunday.
Cornerback Xavien Howard and center Connor Williams, whose play was questionable due to a groin injury, will be inactive.
This was the first missed game of the season for Howard, who was injured against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
Howard had told reporters he would play, but was ruled out after suffering the injury .
With Williams out, Liam Eichenberg will make his second straight start at center and third this season.
Defenseman Alec Ingold, listed as questionable due to a foot injury, is also active.
Receiver Chase Claypool, whom the Dolphins traded on October 1.
6, is active and will make his team debut.
Miami also made the following players inactive:
wide receiver Robbie Chosen, quarterback Skylar Thompson (emergency QB), cornerback Kelvin Joseph and tight end Tyler Kroft.
