Frank Vogel meets with the media after the Suns’ late-game collapse vs. the Spurs and had interesting things to say about the final moments.
The Phoenix Suns came out looking dominant against the San Antonio Spurs, leading 95-82 after three quarters.
However, they were outscored 33-19 in the fourth by a gritty San Antonio team
It all came to a crash when Kevin Durant was stripped with five seconds left and the Spurs’ Keldon Johnson laid it up with less than two seconds remaining to give the Spurs a 115-114. Durant missed a last-second shot and the Spurs walked away with the victory.
Vogel said there are a lot of positives to take from tonight’s game and called it a “marathon” in terms of the season.
