The new-look Phoenix Suns are just 4-6 to start the season, which is quite disappointing if you consider their offseason aspirations.
However, it’s far from a surprise to see them struggle so badly, as they have a new coach in Frank Vogel, mostly new players, and they haven’t had their Big 3 on the court so far this season.
That’s finally going to change on Wedneday when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to NBA insider Duane Rankin, Devin Booker will be back in the lineup after missing several games with foot and calf injuries, meaning it’ll be the first time we get to see him playing alongside Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal (via NBACentral).
Needless to say, the fans had plenty to say about that, with some thinking the league is officially in trouble and others still being kind of skeptical about this team.
The Suns have a good coach, three All-Stars, two of the best scorers of this generation, and plenty of depth, so they should be considered one of the teams to beat out of the Western Conference.
Of course, there will always be injury concerns when it comes to these three players.
Durant has become injury-prone, and he’s not getting any younger.
Beal has missed almost 50% of his games over the past couple of years.
Booker has also dealt with soft-tissue injuries as of late.
But if they’re healthy come playoff time, it’ll be hard to put your money against this squad in a seven-game series.
