Panthers forward Matt Eisenhuth has been charged with a Grade 1 Shoulder Charge offence following his team’s win over the Broncos.
The incident occurred in the final minute of play at BlueBet Stadium, with the shoulder charge on Bronco Ezra Mam set to cost Eisenhuth $1000 if he takes the early guilty plea.
Should he contest the charge and be unsuccessful the fine increases to $1500.
Fellow Panther Taylan May was placed on report after the head clash that left Reece Walsh with a facial fracture but he was not charged by the Match Review Committee.
Meanwhile, Cronulla’s Briton Nikora will miss the next two games after entering an early guilty plea for a Careless High Tackle on Viliame Kikau in Round 2.
Nikora will miss the Sharks’ games against Wests Tigers and Canberra before being eligible to return for the Round 6 clash against the Rabbitohs after the Sharks’ bye in Round 5.
The Storm’s Jahrome Hughes will miss Sunday’s trip to face the Knights after entering a guilty plea for a Contrary Conduct offence involving referee Chris Butler during his side’s win over the Warriors in Round 2.
Dragons prop Francis Molo is also out of Round 3 after he was charged with a Careless High Tackle during his side’s 38-0 loss to the Dolphins.
