BREAKING: Donald Trump Wins Presidency, Promises to Make the Detroit Lions Great Again
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the “Lose Yourself” rapper wrote, “So proud of the @lions. Thanks 4 an amazing season!!!! We’ll b back!!!” Eminem supported his team during Sunday’s conference final and at multiple Lions games this season as Detroit enjoyed a successful season – their first in decades.
Eminem, in addition to being a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted rapper, is also a long-suffering Detroit Lions fan.
The nation watched in shock and awe as Donald Trump took the podium, victorious in his unprecedented second return to the presidency. But what shocked America even more was his first executive promise.
With the cameras rolling and the crowd hanging on his every word, Trump leaned into the mic and said, “Folks, I’m going to make the Detroit Lions great again!” Gasps rippled through the crowd, and social media went wild. No one could believe it. A few puzzled voices asked, “Does he mean the *country*?”
But Trump was crystal clear. “The Detroit Lions have been America’s underdog for too long. No team deserves to win more than they do, and no city deserves to see their team on top. I’m bringing in the best, the most unbelievable sports minds, and we’re going to fix this.”
In the days that followed, Trump moved swiftly. His advisors were a who’s who of coaching legends. Rumors swirled that he was in talks with everyone from retired NFL superstars to sports psychologists and trainers who had coached Olympic athletes. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions fans — long used to heartache — felt a glimmer of something they hadn’t known in years: hope.
Months later, America was glued to their screens as the new Lions team took to the field for the first time. Trump, seated in the owner’s box, wore a custom jersey with “POTUS 47” emblazoned on the back. It was the dawn of a new era for Detroit. Trump’s promise was starting to look real, and the rest of the league braced itself.
The world had seen Donald Trump as a businessman, as a president, and now, as a miracle-worker for the Detroit Lions.
