Tottenham Hotspur continue to get rid of the fringe players even after the transfer window has shut.
Late deals saw Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez and midfielder Tanguy Ndombele join Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Sanchez joined on a permanent deal while Ndombele’s has gone on loan with an option to buy.
The latest to depart is 20 year old defender Maksim Paskotsi. The talented 20-year-old Estonian joined Tottenham in September 2020 from his hometown club, Flora Tallinn.
He embarked on his Spurs journey, spending his first season with the Under-18s before ascending to the Development Squad in 2021.
Paskotsi’s remarkable journey with the club culminated in a memorable first-team appearance against Pacos de Ferreira during the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off tie in August 2021
He is now set to join Grasshopper Club Zurich. Tottenham have officially confirmed the deal.
“We have reached agreement with Grasshopper Club Zurich for the transfer of Maksim Paskotsi.”
Tottenham have had a very good transfer window under Ange Postecoglou. They signed 7 players including James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Guglielmo, Ashley Phillips, Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson, Alejo Veliz.
In terms of departures, Harry Kane’s was the most notable one as he left the club to sign for Bayern Munich for a fee close to £100m.
Others outgoings include Sergio Reguilon, Joe Rodon, Djed Spence, Harry Winks, Alfie Devine, Troy Parrott, and Dane Scarlett – all of whome have paved the way for a new era at Spurs.
