Everton captain Seamus Coleman has stepped up his recovery from a long-term injury.

The Blues’ long-time defender suffered a knee ligament injury in a match against Leicester City in May, forcing him to miss the start of the 2023/24 season.

However, Coleman returned to individual training this week on the turf at Finch Farm, where he works on his fitness and plays football.
Elsewhere at the Club’s training base, Everton players not on international duty trained with Paul Tait’s young Blues Under-21 squad.
