There have already been some memorable individual performances for Liverpool in the opening weeks of the season.

The Reds have won three of their first four games and have done so in impressive fashion on more than one occasion. Darwin Nunez was responsible for Liverpool’s dramatic comeback at Newcastle, when the odds had been stacked against Jurgen Klopp’s side for the majority of the game, and the team headed into the international break with a comfortable win over Aston Villa.

Their ability to get three points when reduced to 10 men against Bournemouth and Newcastle has led to hopes that the Reds may mount a title challenge this term. Here’s a look at every player’s average rating awarded by Ian Doyle for the first four games in the campaign:

The Brazilian goalkeeper has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent performers this season. He produced a brilliant save to deny Miguel Almiron at Newcastle and helped the Reds earn a point at Chelsea.
