There is no doubt that Sevilla improved their squad during the summer transfer window.
Head coach José Luis Mendilibar, who led Los Nervionenses to Europa League glory last season, certainly has the tools to qualify for the Champions League and also La Liga.
Sevilla currently has strength in depth in several areas, one of which is on the wings.
Dodi Lukebakio arrived this summer and he will help strengthen the options on the right wing.
In fact, Mendilibar’s wing options are among the strongest in his squad, although Lucas Ocampos appears to be the one guaranteed to start in either position.
However, as Diario AS pointed out, the question is what the Argentine is best at.
Ocampos has played twice on the right wing and twice on the left this season.
However, other options better suit Mendilibar’s style in each position (especially on the right wing) so the veteran head coach has some decisions to make.
This is even more true since Sevilla lost their first 3 matches in La Liga.
Mendilibar needs to improve things quickly and Ocampos can play a key role in that.
