Nottingham Forest have strengthened their squad once again this summer, bringing in another 13 new players.
The approach was to add quality rather than quantity, a plan that certainly has been executed by Steve Cooper and the Forest hierarchy.
Players such as Ibrahim Sangare, Callum Hudson-Odoi and World Cup winner Gonzalo Montiel have all joined the club, providing needed strength in depth to the Reds squad.

Aina’s signing came as a surprise to Forest fans, with Serge Aurier and Neco Williams already filling the right-back department, but the 26-year-old has been a shrewd addition.
Former Chelsea man Aina has featured at left-back this season and hasn’t looked out of place, playing against talents such as Bukayo Saka and Antony so far this season.
4. Murillo
Although he’s yet to feature for the club, the signing of Murillo from Corinthians is a great piece of business and provides a good investment for the future.
The 21-year-old was rated highly in his homeland of Brazil, with Murillo subject of interest from multiple Premier League sides before his move to the City Ground.
Despite his young age, the Brazilian is a very confident ball-playing centre-back who will provide needed pace to the Forest backline.
. Nicolas Dominguez
Like Murillo, Nicolas Dominguez is somewhat of an unknown quantity to Forest fans.
The 25-year-old box-to-box midfielder is known as the ‘king of the press’ in Italy, where he was the club captain of Bologna.
Dominguez will transform the Reds’ midfield with his calm nature on the ball, but also his tenacity in winning the ball back for his side
2. Callum Hudson-Odoi
Although he hasn’t lived up to his potential in recent years, for just £3 million Callum Hudson-Odoi is a bargain.
The fresh start at the City Ground allows him to reignite the form he had during 2020/21, which saw Bayern Munich bid £70 million for the 22-year-old.
His move allows him to play under Steve Cooper again after the pair worked together for England U17s, coming in as a replacement for Brennan Johnson after his £47.5 million move to Tottenham.
1. Ibrahim Sangare
There was only ever going to be one choice for the top spot after Ibrahim Sangare’s arrival.
His club-record £30 million move to the City Ground highlights the owner’s ambitions to take the club to the next level after survival last season.
25-year-old Sangare was the Reds’ first-choice target for the past two years, with his superb ball-winning abilities desired to help bolster the midfield.
