Rayhaan Tulloch takes inspiration from Jamie Vardy as he looks to make a late mark at West Brom.
The 22-year-old has been with Albion since the age of nine and made his first-team debut in January 2019.
However, he only made six more appearances for the Baggies in all competitions and is currently on loan at Bradford City in League Two.
However, Tulloch remains hopeful of landing a role at The Hawthorns, telling the Telegraph & Argus [September 12]:
“There’s always time, right?”
“Look at Jamie Vardy and what he has done.
Everything can change in football.
“You could have a good season and finish in the Championship, so who knows?
Tulloch will be 23 when he returns to West Brom, so he’s hardly a youngster anymore – but neither will Vardy once he makes his name.
Now with a fourth loan from the West Midlands, it appears his long-term future lies elsewhere.
Indeed, as his contract expires at the end of the season, he may have played his last game for West Brom.
As Tulloch rightly points out, a successful season on loan with Bradford and his career could have taken a different path.
His two appearances as a substitute in the Fourth Division this season are a far cry from the time he played for England U18 alongside Jacob Ramsey and Tommy Doyle.
Hopefully Tulloch can stay injury-free and make a good impression on Bradford this campaign.
Although his future lies away from West Brom, it’s great to see one of the club’s members making a name for himself somewhere.
