Sean Dyche believes Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is unlikely to leave the club on Friday September 15 and wants him to feature in his plans this season.
Liverpool ECHO journalist Joe Thomas shared on his personal Twitter account on September 15 Dyche’s comments during a press conference with the Toffees boss, admitting that Gomes could still be an Everton player after the end of the season.
Turkey’s deadline ends on Friday.
FotoMac reported on September 13 that the midfielder was close to swapping Goodison Park for Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium in a deal worth £4.

Gomes has been named in the club’s 25-man Premier League squad and Dyche has now shared that he hopes to have Gomes at his disposal after Friday.
He say:
“That’s quite unlikely.
He was unfortunately injured and I wanted him to be part of what we do.
He is a very good football player.
I think he’ll be here by the end of the day.
“I hope. Just when it seemed all hope at Goodison Park was lost for the 30-year-old Portugal international, Dyche has now made his stance very clear on Gomes’ potential departure.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a permanent move away from Goodison Park for around two years now, but that move never seemed to materialize and it appears the outcome remains the same for now.
It’s been a long time since Gomes last played in front of Everton fans with his last Premier League match being at home to Crystal Palace in May 2022 [Transfermarkt].
Since then, the 29-time Portugal international benefited from a loan spell at LOSC Lille and has proved quite successful, playing 26 games in Ligue 1, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists.
And it seems Dyche has taken those performances in France as a sign to try and keep Gomes at the club and it could be a great move as Gomes has all the midfield qualities that Everton Needed in midfield alongside Amadou Onana..
Gomes is a technically gifted player who possesses excellent passing ability and excellent vision, and can make a difference in a team that does not have many complete players in the middle of the park.
It looks like Gomes has a future on Merseyside.
