Sheffield Wednesday boss Xisco Munoz has apologized to Owls fans after his side were beaten 1-0 by Ipswich Town at Hillsborough yesterday.
Wednesday remained winless in the league this season and failed to register a single shot on target as Town returned to Suffolk with all three points.
Muñoz said:
“I can only apologize to the fans.
“Today we took two steps back.
We reacted well in the second half but not enough.
I don’t like what I saw today.
“We have to try to find balance and maintain 90 minutes in matches.
I was very disappointed in the first half.
We had to play 90 minutes and once again I can only apologize to the fans.
Munoz, who replaced Darren Moore this summer, was asked if he was starting to feel the pressure as he watched his team booed at half-time and at full-time.
