Former NFL player and Burnley investor JJ Watt believes Luca Koleosho will be a “superstar” as the 19-year-old has impressed in the Premier League since signing.
Burnley picked up their first points of the Premier League season on Monday night and co-owner JJ Watt believes his side have a superstar on their hands.
Despite leading at half-time through Zeki Amdouni, Burnley had to settle for a point against Nottingham Forest when Callum Hudson Odoi scored his first goal for the club in the 61st minute – and it was a howler.
Burnley have struggled since being promoted to the Premier League, losing their first three matches.
Manager Vincent Kompany is likely to be given extra time after a superb debut season in the Championship, and the club received further investment this summer when former NFL player JJ Watt and his wife Kealia Watt took over.

He has his eye on a future talent, as Luca Koleosho has impressed since being signed by Espanyol in the summer for £2.

Koleosho has featured in every Premier League match for Burnley so far and assisted in the 2-5 loss to Tottenham.
Koleosho has attracted interest from a number of big European sides after announcing his presence in the Premier League, but at international level he has a big decision to make.
At youth level, the striker played for Italy and the United States, but Nigeria and Canada are also keen to secure his international future.
The 19-year-old was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, to a Nigerian father and an Italian-Canadian mother.
Koleosho recently represented Italy at U19 level, but was also called up to the Canadian men’s national team for a friendly and two CONCACAF Nations League matches in June 2022.
Koleosho left the Canada camp after a cancelled friendly, meaning they missed the opportunity to hand him his senior international debut which would have locked in his future. Koleosho is considered an Italian national in football due to playing for their youth side this year, but the United States are stepping up their efforts to call him up to their senior side.
The forward’s only trophy in his career so far was with the Italian youth team, as they won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship. So far only Canada has called him up at senior level, but that could change as the season progresses.
The the USA continue to expand their talented roster, and at the recent World Cup they fielded the youngest starting eleven at the tournament. Koleosho may be swayed due to growing up in the United States, but could also be influenced by his parents who are from very different backgrounds.
