The summer transfer window closed a few weeks ago.
But Inter is still focusing on the contract situation of the players already in the team.
Wingback Dimarco’s current contract will expire at the end of June 2026.
The Italian international signed his final contract in the fall of 2021.
Inter currently wants to extend the contract with the 26-year-old player.
They will update his deal with an improved salary to reflect his growing importance to the team and his evolving form.
Additionally, the Nerazzurri will of course want to avoid any transfer benefits for Dimarco.
The likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United are also said to have shown an interest in signing Dimarco in recent months.
Therefore, Inter’s priorities are very clear.
They want to ensure that the winger is given a new contract in the relatively near future.
New contacts with Dimarco dealers will take place in the coming weeks or months.
Dimarco is not the only winger that Inter want to offer a new contract.

The Dutch international and former PSV Dumfries man’s current contract expires at the end of June 2025.
Dumfries signed a 4-year contract when joining Inter from PSV in summer 2021.
And the Nerazzurri don’t want it to last too long if Dumfries doesn’t sign an extension.
According to Gazzetta, Inter’s clear priority is to avoid entering the next summer transfer window without reaching a new agreement with Dumfries.
But the truth is that the Nerazzurri want to reach a new agreement before that time
Like Dimarco, Gazzetta reported that Inter may begin negotiating a contract extension with the Dutchman’s representatives this fall.
