According to BBC report: Miami Heat Player Reveals A Major Personal Achievement…

During his first year in the NBA, Nikola Jovic of the Miami Heat experienced a lot.

He even went all the way to the Finals, something all rookies dream of.

That’s an impressive feat, made even more impressive by the fact that Jovic wasn’t a high school graduate when he did so.

But that has changed: the Miami Herald, via NBACentral, is reporting that Jovic has now graduated from high school.

Is Nikola Jovic a keeper for the Miami Heat this offseason?

The 20-year-old forward didn’t really show off all his potential in his first year with the Heat.

He averaged 5.5 points and 2.1 rebounds but only played for about 13 minutes per game.

It was clear that the Heat didn’t have a whole lot of space for Jovic, which isn’t too surprising because they have a very deep roster and he’s a rookie.

But he is still hoping to get a lot more time on the floor in the season ahead.

However, he might not be getting that time with the Heat.

Jovic’s name has repeatedly been tied to possible trade deals to land Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Therefore, if the Blazers and Heat see eye-to-eye on a Lillard deal, Jovic could be leaving Miami.

However, we don’t know if that would result in him playing in Portland or another location if it’s a three-team trade.

We also don’t know if the Heat and Blazers will work anything out; Lillard could head to a different franchise or just stay in Portland.

But because Jovic’s name has been attached to rumors so frequently, there is no doubt that he is seen as expendable by the team’s front office.

So how much longer will this recent high school graduate be playing for the Heat?
