According to BBC report: Sheffield United star blushed because of Newcastle United’s pre-match confession

Sheffield United defender Chris Basham leans towards Sunderland wanting to “gain the upper hand” against Newcastle United.

Newcastle United fans were quick to mock Sheffield United defender Chris Basham after yesterday’s 8-0 rout.
In the build-up to the Premier League clash at Bramall Lane, Sunderland fan Basham is keen to “get the upper hand” against the Magpies.
“Those are all important games in the Premier League but it’s not just another game, it’s Newcastle United and obviously they will come to us after going to San Siro to play AC Milan in midweek,” Basham told Blades.
