According to BBC reporter:Former Inter Milan defender says ‘Inter beat Empoli without getting out of second gear’

Former Nerazzurri defender Daniele Adani believes Inter Milan could have beaten Empoli even if they weren’t playing at their best.

Adani spoke to Italian channel RAI Radio, via FCInterNEws.
Inter couldn’t have hoped for a much better start to the Serie A season than what they’ve experienced.
The Nerazzurri have scored 14 goals and conceded just once in the first five matches of the campaign.
It’s value for money for a perfect start to the season.

Five wins out of five gave Inter an early advantage in the Serie A standings.
AC Milan is 3 points behind the Nerazzurri after a 1-5 defeat in the derby.
And then Juventus is 5 points behind, and champion Naples is 8 points behind.
It’s still early in the season but it feels like Inter is the leading team in Serie A.
And there is little luck in this beginning.
The total points total reflects the form of the team, which appears to have reached a level close to the peak of coach Simone Inzaghi’s approach and style of play.
Adani:
Inter Milan galloped past Empoli
“This season Inter tried to win even when they weren’t playing at their best,” Adani said.
“They can find the net thanks to the wingers, the midfielders, the strikers, Calhanoglu,” he noted.
“It’s a very strong team and they know that.
They know how to manage the tempo and rhythm of the match.
“I don’t think it’s a surprise,” Adani then suggested.
We expect this from them.
“Last season, they lost 12 games, which was too much,” he added.
“The gap with Napoli is bigger than it should be.
