Every Aston Villa player available for Everton clash as Unai Emery prepares to ring changes
Unai Emery’s team were given a bye to round three due to their participation in the Europa Conference League. Everton defeated League Two side Doncaster Rovers 2-1 in the second round to set up this evening’s tie.
Villa and Everton have already met at Villa Park this season. The Villans defeated the Toffees 4-0 in August courtesy of goals from John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Leon Bailey and Jhon Duran.
Duran, 19, could make a start against Everton after impressing off the bench in the Premier League recently. The Colombian has scored twice in just 57 minutes of top flight football.
With an important Premier League game against Brighton coming up on Saturday, Emery is expected to give some of his key players a rest in the cup. Youngster Omari Kellyman will be hoping to make his Villa bow after being among the substitutes in the win at Chelsea on Sunday. Alex Moreno didn’t feature in the squad at Stamford Bridge because “he is not feeling 100 percent comfortable to play.”
Midfielders: Douglas Luiz, John McGinn, Youri Tielemans, Leander Dendoncker, Jacob Ramsey, Boubacar Kamara.
Attackers: Ollie Watkins, Moussa Diaby, Nicolò Zaniolo, Jhon Durán, Leon Bailey, Omari Kellyman.
Ruled out: Diego Carlos, Alex Moreno, Tyrone Mings, Emi Buendía, Tim Iroegbunam, Bertrand Traoré.
