BBC report: Pulling in some incredible players, a Strike pair, both linked with giants Inter Milan after Rangers missed out….

Rangers-linked striker pair Nikola Kristovic and Serhou Guirassy are now both being linked to last season’s Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport are claiming that the Ibrox-linked strike duo join Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface on an Inter shortlist heading into the January window.

It comes with Mirko Arnautovic out until November with an injury and the club looking to recruit a talismanic target man to lead their frontline for the coming seasons.

As the Ibrox club’s lacklustre forwards toil following a £13m summer rebuild, two players who appeared to get away are tearing it up in Italy and Germany respectively.

Montenegrin striker Nikola Kristovic was the top scorer in the Slovenian top flight with Dunajska Streda last season and reportedly caught Rangers’ eye in the summer.

But after extensive links the 23-year-old would move to Serie A Lecce and since then he’s been one of the stars of the Italian top flight this season.

Netting three goals in five games for his new club already, Nikola Kristovic is turning heads with links now popping up everywhere to some of Italy’s top clubs.

Gazzetta dello Sport mentioned both Inter and AC Milan earlier in the week and Rangers must rue not moving considerint the striker reportedly cost £1.3m less than Cyriel Dessers.

The forward has also been likened to £72m Juventus hitman Dusan Vlahovic. Ouch.

Serhou Guirassy linked to Inter Milan

Stuttgart: Serhou Guirassy has made a radical decision for his future

As for Serhou Guirassy, fans might remember the then Amiens striker being linked with Rangers back in 2019 when the club was being managed by Steven Gerrard.

The forward was back amongst the headlines recently given his storming success with VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, a blistering return of 10 goals in 5 games this season turning heads across Europe.

Another one that got away from Rangers, the Guinean forward is reportedly wanted around Europe and has been named as the Bundesliga’s “star of the season” by top German football journalist Derek Rae.

With both strikers now being linked with Inter Milan, it’s very much a case of what might’ve been as Rangers look for more from their shot shy frontline.
