Everton fans are just rooting for themselves to get relegated this season

While there’s no doubt that Goodison Park is always full of rowdy matches at Everton come rain or shine, it seems the Merseyside faithful are extremely pessimistic about their team’s campaign this season.
Everton ranked 17th last season and their safety was confirmed on the final matchday with a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.
The Toffees have been struggling with relegation all season but just barely survived.
However, their luck at the beginning of the season was no different.
Last Saturday was Toffee’s first win in six tries with a deserved win over Brentford.
Sean Dyche’s side will be hoping their fortunes have now changed after star Dominic Calvert-Lewin returned from injury and returned to the scoresheet.
All the more reason to shout at Everton fans this week after knocking Aston Villa out of the Champions League on their home ground.
Supporters of other teams in the league are a bit more optimistic about Everton’s chances and disagree with their relegation.
Instead, the most supported relegation teams this season are Sheffield United, Luton Town and Wolves.
While newly promoted Sheffield United and Luton are the favourites, Wolves are the most popular favourites, with 14% of Ladbrokes Fanzone bets going to the side led by Gary O’Neil manage.
Wolves are currently ranked one place behind Everton in 16th place with the same number of points and only 3 points above the relegation zone.
According to Ladbrokes Fanzone, 14% of Everton fans also believe that the suffering of the blue team on Merseyside will continue when Liverpool win the tournament.
