The NFL have made the most of the trending subjects in the sport in recent weeks including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, with the league now set for back-to-back weeks in Tottenham
The NFL is back in London this month and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host two fixtures as American football returns to England for the 16th year.
On Sunday, Jacksonville Jaguars will play Buffalo Bills before Baltimore Ravens take on Tennessee Titans a week later on Sunday, October 15. The fixtures have been scheduled as part of the deal signed between the football club and NFL, which runs through to the 2029/30 season.
The home of Spurs will continue to host a minimum of two games per season as part of the deal but the rapidly-growing audience in the United Kingdom, the number of games played in north London could gradually increase as the years go.
Ahead of this weekend’s clash, the official NFL X – formerly Twitter – account have started the pre-game hype with a change of their bio. At the time of writing, it reads: “turning up in Tottenham”.

On Sunday night, the media storm surrounding Taylor Swift’s love story with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce continued as the pop star attended their game with the New York Jets with Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany and Wrexham AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds.
The Chiefs have now won twice with Swift in attendance but supporters called out the NFL social media channel for attempting to continue the hype. It comes after their page updated their header photo on X as an image of Swift before changing their Instagram profile bio to ‘Chiefs are 2-0 as Swifties’.
