Sky Sports News Gives Analysis And Expected Results From Westbrom And Sheffield Game

Sky Sports analyst David Prutton makes a result prediction for the match between West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday.

West Brom will hope they can build on a remarkable scoreline which is undoubtedly one of the results of the season so far when they triumphed over high-flying Preston North End at Deepdale 4-0 on Saturday (30 September).

The Baggies will be happy to find themselves up in eighth despite a somewhat inconsistent start so far this campaign, entering the midweek matchday clashes just three points shy of the playoffs.

Sky Sports host Prutton, in his predictions for the Championship games in midweek (2 October) has backed Corberan and his men to stretch their unbeaten run to five games with a “2-0” win over Wednesday.

Expect three points

West Brom were picture-perfect in their 4-0 win over Preston at Deepdale over the weekend, providing a timely reminder to their rivals in the division that they cannot be forgotten about so soon into the season.

Sheffield Wednesday are on a dreadful run of results so far this campaign, sitting at the bottom of the Championship table with just two points to their name from nine games so far.

Certainly, it’s so difficult to predict games in the English second division but it will be massively disappointing if West Brom aren’t able to win their second game on the bounce on Tuesday and before the game, Corberan must demand the three points.

Anything less than that will be a grave concern against a team low on confidence in all phases of their game right now and there’s a case to argue that not even complacency can stop West Brom winning this game the way Xisco Munoz’s men are performing right now.

Withstanding the westbrom fans will like to see another routing from this game as a continuation of what they saw in their previous match.

It is actually going to be a convincing win for the Baggies in the early play off in the championship.
