West Brom have raised concerns about the pricing of away tickets for their trip to Coventry City on 30 October, but the ultimate decision was out of their control, according to Lewis Cox.
The Express and Star journalist shared the news via his personal Twitter account on 4 October, after the club announced the tickets had gone on sale at £37 for an adult ticket

With the decision out of West Brom’s control, their appeal and concerns surrounding the high price have evidently fallen on deaf ears, with Coventry sticking to their pricing at risk of putting travelling fans off of the trip.
The journey from the Black Country to the West Midlands is one of the shorter journeys for fans of the Baggies, but at that price added to what will be paid for travel on a Monday night, fans would be excused for turning away from this one, particularly given they can watch on Sky from the comfort of their homes.
It’s a shocking decision from Coventry and risks alienating sections of the away support in the interest of more funding for the club. The likely response will be plenty of complaints from travelling fans, but West Brom’s protest proved powerless.
