Inter Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram who is also a transfer target of Juventus.
The Nerazzurri have already signed the midfielder’s older brother Marcus Thuram in the summer. The latter has quickly established himself as a starter in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
For his part, Khephren is following in his brother’s footsteps. He has already made his debut for the senior French national team. He could also decide to develop his game in Serie A after reportedly rejecting Liverpool.
According to Calciomercato, Inter could be eying a move for the 22-year-old. As the source explains, Inzaghi’s midfield is currently lacking a physically strong midfielder following the departure of Roberto Gagliardini.
At the moment, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is filling in the role, although he possesses different characteristics. Nonetheless, Thuram could be the right profile for the job.
However, the source warns that Juventus are also tracking the young midfielder.
Bianconeri director of football Cristiano Giuntoli has already contacted former Juventus and Parma defender Lilian Thuram, letting him know that his son Khephren is a priority target for the club.
Nevertheless, the source insists that the Nerazzurri are keeping tabs on the player who’s learning about the atmosphere at Appiano Gentile, albeit from the outside, thanks to his brother Marcus.
However, the France international won’t come cheap. Whoever wants to sign the player will have to splash a figure between 25 and 30 million euros at the very least.
Thuram joined Nice in 2019 after rising through the ranks at Monaco. His contract with the Ligue 1 side runs until the summer of 2025.
