Aston Villa winger Moussa Diaby has been declared fit to start against Wolverhampton Wanderers in Sunday’s Premier League match.
With the summer arrival having missed the Europa Conference League match against Zrinjski Mostar earlier this week, he is naturally a doubt for the West Midlands derby at Molineux.
However, the France international was introduced into the final third in one of six changes made by Unai Emery.
With three central defenders Ezri Konsa, Diego Carlos and Pau Torres selected, it seems Villa will start with a 3-4-2-1 formation.
This will see Matty Cash and Lucas Digne used at full-back, with John McGinn to be used as one of two attack-minded players – the other being Diaby – behind Ollie Watkins.
Clément Lenglet, Leander Dendoncker, Youri Tielemans, Leon Bailey, Nicolo Zaniolo and Jhon Duran all came off the bench.
Meanwhile, Gary O’Neil remains in the Wolves XI that started last weekend’s 2-1 win over champions Manchester City.
The only change came from the bench with Tommy Doyle, who was ineligible to face parent club Man City, named ahead of Joe Hodge.
