Babestation presenter and Saints supporter Alex Le Tissier went to watch the team her father-in-law once excelled in for the first time since she fell out with him – and it didn’t go well.
The daughter-in-law of Matt Le Tissier went to watch Southampton play live – but was left feeling scared and unsafe.
Footie lover Alex Le Tissier, 31, had not been to the Saint Mary’s Stadium since she fell out with her husband’s famous dad after becoming a racy model.
The Championship side earned an unsatisfactory point against visitors Rotherham but for Alex the experience in the terraces made her question whether she would ever return.
She went to the game alone and said constant dirty looks made her uncomfortable and the mum-of-four stayed in her seat at the final whistle to let the crowds die down.
Alex, who has contacted the police once before after being harassed by a Saints supporter online, spoke exclusively about the forgettable day with the Daily Star.
She said: “I hadn’t really been back since all the press and attention so I was a bit nervous because I have had threats from certain fans in the past and I thought ‘oh god what if something happens’.
“Just everyone honestly was looking at me up and down and I couldn’t believe it. I got to the bar and the lady thought she had seen a ghost and was just staring.
I was actually really shocked and it made me feel really uncomfortable and then we drew to Rotherham. I actually got really scared and I waited until most of the people had left the stadium, I was thinking there was no way I was going out to all the rowdy people who were angry. I was by myself and if there was a group of people I would have no chance.
“I just don’t want to be around that and the atmosphere was not good. It was almost like I had come out of prison or something really bad.
