JUST NEWS:Aston Villa The £250,000-a-week duo ‘may not last long’ under Emery at Villa Park

Aston Villa coach Unai Emery may have to make some decisions in the near future.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery may have some big decisions to make in the upcoming transfer window, as journalist Dean Jones has named two senior players who may not last much longer, in a interview with GIVEMESPORT.
The Midlands club is going from strength to strength and some players could be left behind if they don’t progress.
Villa are enjoying an impressive period under Emery, who was appointed midway through last season.
The Spanish coach replaced Steven Gerrard, who struggled to get his players up to speed.
The Villans have gone uphill since Emery’s arrival and qualified for the Europa Conference League last season.
This season, Villa got off to an excellent start, finishing 5th in the Premier League while also competing in Europe.
At the end of August, Villa beat Brighton & Hove Albion 6-1 in England’s top flight, with star striker Ollie Watkins scoring a hat-trick.
A few days later, the club announced that Watkins had signed a new long-term contract a huge boost for Villa and their supporters.
As Villa continue to improve under Emery, the players need to improve and fight for their places.
The quality of the team has improved significantly over the past few years, forcing those who have been through tougher times to step up to the next level.

Jones suggested that Youri Tielemans and Leon Bailey, who earn £250,000 a week at Villa Park, may not stay at the club for too long.
The journalist added that it would be wise for the Villa duo to let their legs do the talking at the moment as they need to apply pressure on the field.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said.
Jones previously told GIVEMESPORT that Tielemans is increasingly frustrated at Villa Park due to a lack of playing time, especially with international football coming up next summer.
If the Belgian international wants to represent his country at the European Championships, regular playing time is necessary.
According to Football Insider, Bailey is open to a transfer in the summer transfer window, so it will be interesting to see whether Villa’s position changes in January.
According to FBref, the 26-year-old has only started twice in the Premier League this season, so it certainly wouldn’t be surprising if he requested a transfer in the winter.
Their performances so far this season, when given the opportunity, do not warrant a regular place in the starting lineup.
After the international break, Villa host West Ham United as they look to continue their strong start to the season.
Europa Conference League side AZ Alkmaar awaits after their first Premier League match, against hosts Villans Luton Town at Villa Park.
The Midlands club is currently bottom of the European table but all four teams have 3 points.
Juggling Premier League and European football certainly won’t be easy for Emery’s side as the season progresses, so it will be interesting to see whether they can compete on all fronts.
