News Update;Green Bridge effect on Celtics valued young lad..

Liel Abada has discovered himself on the end of some criticism this past few days. This has of course arisen due to the backlash that erupted following the club’s decision to call out the Green Brigade over their well publicised support of the people and nation of Palestine and in particular the banners that were displayed at Celtic Park on Saturday.

The propaganda aimed at Liel has been voiced from a small percentage of moronic supporters it has to be said, but still, just one critical voice is one too many. Liel Abada has done nothing bad.

His only crime is showing support for his country which anyone would do. He didn’t wish harm on anyone, nor he didn’t criticise the Celtic supporters. The only thing Liel should be judged on is his ability on the football pitch because that what brought him to Celtics.

We are a club open to all after all and that should be remembered. Liel is a talented young lad who is a valued member of our squad.

He deserves better and doesn’t deserve any flak coming his way especially due to something that’s outwith his control.

He’s also had some stick from his homeland because he plays for Celtic and those banners were displayed at Celtic Park by the Green Brigade – yet Abada gets the stick from that end too!

If you think he deserves to be criticised just because of where he’s from or who he plays for, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Thankfully the overwhelming majority of the Celtic support don’t think this way and will give Liel Abada our full support as indeed the club is doing.

We hope the management weirds more especially his head coach Brenda Rogers so the young lad will not be affected psychologically.
