Breaking Just now Everton close in finalizing prolific star deal big relief says Fabrizio Romano

Everton are currently tracking the progress of Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Willian Pacho, according to TEAMtalk.

The publication reported on its website on Wednesday (18 October) that their Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and West Ham are also showing an interest.

The Ecuador international has made 12 appearances for the German club this season since his summer switch from Royal Antwerp

“A trio of English clubs are tracking Willian Pacho of Eintracht Frankfurt to see whether he lives up to the hype as one of the Bundesliga’s next breakout stars,” according to TEAMtalk.

“At this early stage of his career in Germany it is understood Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham have an eye on his big breakthrough.

“While Frankfurt will be in no mood to let Pacho leave soon, there is already talk that a player signed for £8million from Royal Antwerp holds a value closer to £35million

It is always the case with Everton, but they will find it hard to land the signature of the promising defender due to other interest.

Both West Ham and Crystal Palace may be viewed as more attractive clubs to join, while the Toffees will also have inevitable difficulties when it comes to the financial side of any deal to sign the player.

And there is no doubt that the 22-year-old will attract interest from elsewhere if he continues on this exciting trajectory.

For now, however, he is very much a Frankfurt player, with Pacho part of a very talented defence that boasts the best goals conceded record in the current Bundesliga season. Their problems lie at the other end of the pitch, with the club among the lowest scorers in the campaign so far.

The sky really is the limit for the young star, who played a key role for Antwerp last time out as they won the Belgian league and cup double.
