The new-look Suns have looked impressive to say the least under new coach Frank Vogel in the first four preseason games.
With the regular season less than a week away, the Suns play in one more preseason game – a neutral site matchup tomorrow against the Lakers in Palm Springs.
What will the Suns do in terms of minutes tomorrow?
“We’re going to play most of our guys,” Vogel said. “And try to get our main guys some second half minutes. I don’t know if we’ll finish the game with them, but (it’ll) just be a little more work, try to get them up high 20s, low 30s in terms of minutes. Just continue to build their conditioning and get them ready for opening night.”
Only Ish Wainright and Damion Lee are listed as out of as of right now for the Suns. Both have missed the entire preseason with injuries.
Vogel is all about defense, and it has been a catalyst to the Suns’ strong preseason. It has especially been fun to watch the top players buying in defensively so far.
During yesterday’s and today’s media sessions, Vogel provides updates on players, talks strategy, looks ahead to the Lakers’ game, recaps Tuesday’s 117-106 victory over the Nuggets and more.
