For the first time in over a decade, the Philadelphia Eagles will be wearing their classic Kelly Green uniforms when they go up against a tough Miami Dolphins team on Sunday night.
The Eagles haven’t worn these classic uniforms since Week 1 of the 2010 season, and they haven’t worn them as their main uniform since 1995.
In addition to their uniforms, Philadelphia also shared a video online that featured a classic mid-field design and end zones with the team’s classic wordmark logo.
The Eagles will be hoping that their classic uniforms will help them get back to winning after the team suffered their first loss of the season last week when they took on the New York Jets.
Philadelphia’s Week 7 matchup isn’t going to be an easy one, however, as they have to go up against a very talented 5-1 team in the Miami Dolphins.
Luckily for the Eagles, they get to play Sunday night in front of their home crowd and inside a stadium that is expected to be packed full.
Philadelphia got off to a fast start this season, winning each of the first five games on their schedule, and they appear to be heading towards representing the NFC in the Super Bowl once again.
Getting a victory on Sunday won’t be easy though, as the Dolphins have also shown this season that they’re likely going to be one of the teams in the AFC that will be contending for a championship.
Will the Eagles and their Kelly Green uniforms get things back on track this week against Miami?
