Breaking News BBC confirms Nottingham likely to sack coach if this continues

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos is beginning to lose patience at the City Ground. The Reds are yet to take a look at the Greece number one, with Matt Turner in possession of the gloves.

The international stopper was added to the Forest squad on transfer deadline day. He cost the club £7.7 million from Benfica and has made appearances in the Champions League during his career.

Vlachodimos was in form for Greece during the recent international break. He kept a clean sheet against the Republic of Ireland and saved a penalty in the game against Holland.

The Greek goalkeeper is reportedly unhappy at the City Ground given that he’s not played yet. This news comes from Sportime who claim that the player is ‘pulling his teeth out’

Vlachodimos is 29-years-old and he will have sought reassurances from Forest before moving to England. Evangelos Marinakis will have given him those promises and it will be interesting to see what transpires going forward.

The player is a quality goalkeeper who played over 200 times for Benfica. It seems madness that Forest are conceding goals and he’s not yet been given a chance to shine

Turner was very average against Brentford earlier this month and yesterday, Luton’s equalising goal came at his near post. With that in mind, Steve Cooper has to be in a bit of a quandary.

Vlachodimos is far too good to be sitting on the Forest bench. He’s established himself wherever he has been in the past and it’s easy to understand why he’s growing frustrated at the City Ground.

With some very important fixtures to come on the horizon, Vlachodimos will hope that he can make his debut in the near future. Once he does, it’s hard to imagine him losing his place in the team.
