After taking a year off of coaching, Frank Vogel’s time with the Suns is not going to start easy in terms of the schedule.
Phoenix will open its season on the road against the Warriors (Tuesday) and Lakers (Thursday). Vogel will get a chance in only his second game to return to his past coaching stop.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Vogel said of playing two tough opponents right off the bat. “The harder it is early on (and) the more you’re tested, the more you’re forced to be near perfect to get Ws.”
