Breaking News:Sky Sports report confirm Wolverhampton ready to make exchange of their top player

A swap deal with Wolves could cost West Ham United just £21 million in January, and it would be the bargain of the decade for us.

West Ham should be pursuing a swap deal with Wolves in the January transfer window, if David Moyes really wants to take his squad to the next level.

The Hammers are very strong in all areas of the pitch, apart from two departments – centre-forward and full-back.

And Moyes can go a long way to solving the latter issue this January by signing Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves and sending Aaron Cresswell in the opposite direction – the 33-year-old was linked with a £4 million move to Molineux in the summer but remained at the London Stadium in the end.

Meanwhile, it was claimed by the Sun that Wolves could demand around £25 million for the 22-year-old speed merchant.

So West Ham essentially could sign the Algeria international for £21 million if we send Aaron Cresswell to the Black Country. It’s an absolute no-brainer

Ait-Nouri is a top-class left-back. He’s only 22 so will continue to get better and better, and he would provide stiff competition for Emerson Palmieri

In 11 Premier League appearances for Wolves this season, the Algerian has averaged 2.5 tackles, one interception, 1.3 clearances and 1.4 dribbles per match (Who Scored).

He possesses absolutely blistering pace and is an extremely proficient tackler.

Ait-Nouri would be a monumental upgrade on Cresswell, and to have genuine competition in the left-back department would be a big boost for the club.

All that would need sorting then would be the centre-forward and right-back departments
