Breaking News:Sky Sports reporter confirms Rangers already in advance negotiations on signing a young talented prospect

Rangers manager Philippe Clement is looking at three different categories in his signings ahead of the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The English media outlet reported on 7 November that pace, power and attitude and the three things the Belgian is looking at.

Despite spending big in the summer under Michael Beale, the Gers board is set to back their new manager in the winter.

What Clement wants are certain characteristics that will benefit this Rangers side and make them a better team.

There have been players in the past who have not had the right attitude and despite doing well at the club, have always wanted something more.

The Belgian will thus have to ensure that it’s not the case with the players he brings through the door in the January transfer window.

An out-and-out wide player was not signed over the summer and that could be an area he’s looking to strengthen over the coming weeks.

A new midfielder and centre-back could also be on his radar, especially given the unavailability of John Souttar and Ben Davies in recent games.

It’ll be interesting to see how many new players are signed as January is not usually when a club spends a colossal amount of money.
