Everton have been pumping out updates on their Bramley-Moore Stadium with immense regularity, given it has been the sole consistent source of joy across the last few torrid years.
Relegation scraps were the last thing fans would have wanted to endure during their final few seasons in Goodison Park, but now under Sean Dyche it seems they could boldly enter their new arena with the stability they have been craving for so long now.
Just two losses across their last eight games in all competitions mark a glowing upturn in form that is set to see them steer well clear of the drop, and even potentially enjoy a run in the cup too.
Perhaps, over the next few years before their move over towards the Mersey, the foundation for long-term success could be stronger than ever to give such a stunning stadium the calibre of football it will deserve.
Whilst it is pegged for completion in 2024, the shocking progress across just a one-year period seems to suggest that such a date could arguably be moved forward.
After all, the latest update details just how much positive change has been made across such a period.
Despite agreeing on a deal in 2022 for a fixed-cost price of around £500m to complete the stadium, Farhad Moshiri has since come out to suggest this fee has risen dramatically.
Such an outcome always seemed inevitable with a project of this scale, and as such Everton‘s move-in date is one which is expected to fluctuate in a similar manner.
Speaking earlier this year, the Iranian billionaire would reference the build as a ‘£760m’ project, some £260m more than what was first expected.
However, it is worth noting that this newer, much higher figure, is actually inclusive of every cost the stadium will incur, including design and planning as well as potential developments as the project goes on.
