Rangers are already working on January signings and are looking to add real pace to Philippe Clement’s side.
Rangers fans have been left very encouraged by Philippe Clement and his start to life in the Ibrox dugout.
Clement remains unbeaten in all competitions and has taken Rangers into the Viaplay Cup final.
It is all going well for Clement, but he will also be eyeing major January additions to try and take Rangers even further.
Rangers already working on January signings
TEAMtalk now claim that Rangers are already working on a ‘number’ of potential January signings.
It’s stated that Clement is ‘likely’ to look towards the Belgian market and is focusing on adding ‘pace, power and attitude’ to his Rangers squad.
Despite spending heavily on Michael Beale’s summer signings, Rangers are ready to spend again and Clement is expecting additions.
A new winger is the top priority with Clement keen to add ‘more quality’ out wide.
This is music to our ears as Rangers have been too narrow for a while now and Clement seemingly wants to give Rangers more of a wide threat.
Scott Wright has forced his way back into the plans but Clement likely understands that Rangers will need more quality going forward.
Anderlecht ace could make sense as Rangers signing
Clement will have some speed returning to the side soon enough with Rabbi Matondo returning, but another option is seemingly wanted.
One name which could make sense is Anderlecht’s Francis Amuzu.
Clement will know the Belgian market well and Rangers have been linked with Amuzu in the past.
The Ghanaian has been in and out of the Anderlecht side this season and a move to Ibrox may well appeal.
There will be plenty of names in the mix but Amuzu certainly makes sense in terms of his pace, familiarity to Clement and Rangers pre-existing interest
