Brighton could be boosted by the return of five players when they face Nottingham Forest after the international break.
The Seagulls head to the City Ground on November 25 in the Premier League. And boss Roberto De Zerbi has suggested his squad could be significantly boosted for the match.
De Zerbi has hinted that five players who missed Brighton’s last match against Sheffield United could return to training ahead of facing Forest. Evan Ferguson, Lewis Dunk, Tariq Lamptey, James Milner and Pervis Estupinan were all sidelined against the Blades, but could be in contention after the international break.
“We lost Evan but in Amsterdam (against Ajax in the Europa League) he was not in perfect condition,” said De Zerbi. “I don’t know the time but I hope to find the injured players – Evan, Tariq Lamptey, Estupinan and Lewis Dunk – after the break.
“When we start the training, I hope and I think we can find them on the pitch.”
Brighton will, however, be missing Mahmoud Dahoud when they face Forest. Dahoud was sent off after stamping on former Reds man Ben Osborn’s Achilles during Brighton’s 1-1 draw against Sheffield United in the Premier League and will now be suspended.
