News update:What a way to confirm new language at Celtic supporters Brenda Rodgers loves it

The winger has started to adapt at Parkhead and fans got a glimpse of his true potential against Aberdeen

Celtic’s Yang Hyun-Jun celebrates scoring their side’s first goal of the game during the cinch Premiership match at Celtic Park, Glasgow.

Yang Hyun-jun is starting to talk Celtic’s language on the park by making and scoring goals.

Now, with his understanding also growing off the pitch, boss Brendan Rodgers is adamant the winger will continue to grow and get the full benefit of his dedication and graft. Yang heads into this last international break of the year full of confidence having come-off his best display since moving to Glasgow.

After one or two promising early cameos, the 21-year-old’s dazzling show against Aberdeen gave a proper indication of the talent and ability which tempted the champions to buy him for over £2 million from Gangwon. Yang scored an excellent first goal for the club with a header before helping to create the second for Kyogo Furuhashi in the 6-0 destruction of the Dons. With Daizen Maeda facing an extended spell on the sidelines and joining Liel Abada on the longer-term injury list, the manager needs the likes of Yang and Luis Palma to deliver big display in the absence of that key pair.
