Breaking News:Celtic new play maker keeps impressing and it now looking hard to let the kid move

Celtic winger Luis Palma has been on a superb run of form since joining the club in the summer. The Honduran internationalist has stood out in green and white so far.

Although he has racked up some outstanding numbers up to this point, former Hoops striker Chris Sutton hasn’t been totally convinced by the Honduran internationalist as of yet. He said (Daily Record): “The jury is still out despite superb numbers in terms of goals and assets. He’s got seven goals and eight assists in just 18 appearances – including setting up three against Aberdeen and scoring one himself. There are wide players who don’t produce those stats over an entire season. It’s tough for him as he has big boots to fill as Jota’s apparent replacement.

In Glasgow so far, Palma has done a respectable job of living up to the levels of Jota. He has already bagged in some important matches, and Sutton compared him to a cult hero of the Scottish champions.

Lubo Moravcik was a standout for the Bhoys back in his day. Sutton said on the parallels: “His cross for Oh’s goal with the outside of his right boot was a touch of class and brought back memories of Lubo Moravcik. Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a long way to go to get to Lubo’s level but I do think there’s more to come from him”

As the season transpires, Hoops fans and Brendan Rodgers will be eager for Palma to continually improve. He is a player who has gained the support of the Parkhead so far, which can only be positive and motivate him further
