Breaking:Wolverhampton Wanderers just got hit with sad and terrible news BBC confirms this report

Over the weekend an interesting transfer report emerged about Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa, with the Saudi Pro League looking at the Molineux number one.

Sa has been with Wolves now since the summer of 2021, signing for a £7 million fee from Greek giants Olympiacos.

The star enjoyed a terrific debut season at Molineux, and was ultimately named the club’s Player of the Season for his efforts.

But Sa could not live up to his high standards in his second season, and made a number of errors between the sticks.

So far this term, Sa has been generally decent, although there have still been a couple of mistakes. That said, he’s also had some great moments, such as his unbelievable save from Abdoulaye Doucoure against Everton earlier this term, and his performance against Aston Villa, after which Lee Naylor called him ‘outstanding’.

According to The Sun, Sa has now emerged as a transfer target for some of Saudi Arabia’s biggest clubs.

Despite only recently signing a new contract at Molineux, SPL outfits are taking a look a the 30-year-old as they seek to further raise the profile of their league.

It is stated that Wolves’ goalkeeping coach Neil Cutlera is actively looking at potential replacements for Sa should he actually end up departing.

The most eye-catching part of this report is that Wolves could potentially fetch £40 million for Sa, which could see the club make nearly six times what they paid for him.

Everybody knows at this point that there is huge money in the Saudi League and so, it is not out of the question that a £40 million bid could be forthcoming.

If a bid of £40 million, or one around that figure, did arrive for Sa, then Wolves would surely have to snap that club’s hand off.
