Exclusive:Fabrizio Romano confirm Rangers finally agree deal with starlet proven star

Andy Walker and Graham Dorrans have both agreed that a return to Rangers for Ryan Kent could solve Philippe Clement’s winger shortage at Ibrox

The English winger departed Glasgow this summer after he opted to not extend his contract with the Light Blues, but has struggled to find his feet at Fenerbache and is yet to score a single goal in seven Super Lig matches.

A return to Ibrox had been suggested in January to help him rediscover his form and both Walker and Dorrans believe that it could be a move that benefits both Kent and Rangers in the long run.

Speaking live on The Go Radio Football Show [23 November] Walker said: “I think he’s the type of player Rangers could do with. A special player in a wide area, someone who can create and carry the ball up the pitch thirty or forty yards.
Rangers are missing that type of player, it will be really interesting to see what type of player, what position Clement wants to strengthen and of course how much money he will be given to strengthen
Dorrans agreed: “In terms of what Kent can bring, you’ve seen it. Rangers are lacking players in the wide area, you’ve got Ross McCausland coming in as the only real winger at the minute with Matondo being injured.
It’s definitely an area that needs improved and needs numbers. If there’s an opportunity to get him back, I think they should.”
Clement prefers to play with wingers and currently, the Belgian has very few options at his disposal in the wide areas, with McCausland the only player currently fit who naturally features in that position.
