Team Report: Raptors set For 1st In-Season Tournament Victory against Bulls as Injury return emerge…..

The Toronto Raptors will return to their black and gold in-season tournament court Friday night when the Chicago Bulls come to town for a 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff at Scotiabank Arena. WHERE TO WATCH TSN and the FAN 590 will call the game for Toronto. NBC Sports Chicago and 670 The Score will broadcast for Chicago. WHAT TO WATCH FOR The biggest story coming out of the in-season tournament so far has been how slippery some of these courts have been. Toronto’s court, in particular, received criticism from Jaylen Brown after he strained his groin slipping on the court. Hopefully, that issue has been fixed and there will be no issues with the new court on Friday. Malachi Flynn appears to have turned the corner and is stringing together a pretty impressive stretch right now. Even if he’s not as effective as he was on Wednesday night, Toronto needs him to bring an impact on both ends of the court to buoy an at times lackluster second unit. Speaking of which, Gary Trent Jr. has been in a funk to start the season and it’s nowhere more apparent than his free-throw shooting. Toronto needs more from Trent who has shown he can be a high-end scorer for the team in the past. INJURY REPORTS Precious Achiuwa is questionable with a right knee injury. Thad Young’s status remains questionable with an illness and Christian Koloko is out.
