The last month or so has not been good for the Eagles and they have now lost four of their last five Premier League matches.
Following this bad form, there have been some reports around Palace manager Roy Hodgson, who now apparently has added pressure following the poor results.
The Standard reported this news and also shared that the Eagles “still admire” 50-year-old manager Rodgers. They apparently interviewed the manager last season.
With Hodgson’s contract expiring at the end of the season, it is no shock to see manager links start to surface.

They need to be more prepared than they were when Patrick Vieira left, and if they want to start pushing on, they need a long-term plan.
Rodgers had a successful career at Leicester City, helping them win the FA Cup; however, the end of his spell there didn’t go to plan.
Now he is back at Celtic, he has the Scottish Premiership side dominating the division and they are eight points clear of rivals Rangers at the top of the league.
Now, there are multiple managers being touted for the job, including Steve Cooper. Rodgers looks like a top option for Palace.
He has shown that he can help a Premier League side be successful and despite a poor campaign with Leicester last season, Rodgers had them competing for Europe for multiple seasons.
Whoever manages the Eagles next needs to be a long-term plan, not someone who is just there to keep us in the division.
