Breaking:Unai Emery of Aston Villa have a serious outburst after secret meetings with the owners

Ahmed Elmohamady slammed Jamie O’Hara on Twitter for his comments following the extent of Rodrigo Bentancur’s injury for Tottenham Hotspur was reported.

The Tottenham midfielder was injured during his side’s 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday when he was tackled by Matty Cash.

The Aston Villa right-back received a yellow card for his challenge, which was the right call, but because Rodrigo Bentancur had to go off injured and now he is out of action until at least February, it has put Matty Cash in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara wrote on Twitter that he is ‘fuming about Cash’ and ‘next time we play Villa let’s make sure the boys remember.

That’s a below-the-belt tweet from the talkSPORT pundit because he is seemingly implying that the Spurs players should look to injure the Villa man during the reverse fixture

Well, Villa’s ambassador and the fans themselves read it that way and verbally went at Jamie O’Hara, and rightly so, with Ahmed Elmohamady telling him that he should be ‘ashamed’.

O’Hara first wrote: ‘2.5 months for Bentancur injury absolutely gutted he looked decent. Fuming about Cash. Next time we play Villa, let’s make sure the boys remember.

And Elmo responded: ‘You should be ashamed about what you saying, it’s football and those things happened. Cashy never meant to injure him.’

O’Hara then added: ‘Where in my tweet have I said anything about injuring Cash? Players remember tackles and incidents from games & put extra incentive into the next fixture and add more fuel to go and win, never would want anyone to get injured in a football match so apologies if it looked that way.’
