Bradley Beal injury re-evaluation suffers a set back as coach Frank Vogel says…

The Phoenix Suns have been without Bradley Beal for the past few weeks with a low back strain.

The original plan was to have him reevaluated in three weeks, and that was on Friday, November 17th which lines up this Friday (December 8th) as the three-week mark.

According to Shams Charania, Beal is close to a return.

“I’m told [Bradley] Beal has started his ramp-up process… The goal is for him to track toward a return soon, potentially over the next 10 days.”

Suns head coach Frank Vogel said Beal is “making progress” toward a return.

In a media availability, Vogel indicated that they feel he is going to get back to full strength “soon”.

Take that as you will, but it is reported that he could be re-evaluated as soon as Friday, which fits his initial three-week evaluation timeline.

The ‘Suns’ big three have yet to play a game with each other. That could change in the coming days should all go well with his ramp-up process.

Phoenix begins a five-game homestand on Friday night against the Sacramento Kings.
