Chargers Activate Fresh Suspension For Safety JT woods.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Chargers announced the activate of safety JT Woods from the non-football injury list.
Woods has been off the active roster since Week Three’s contest against the Vikings and it remains a mystery as to what forced him to miss so much time with the team.
In two corresponding moves, the Chargers have waived wide receiver Simi Fehoko and signed running back Elijah Dotson to the practice squad.
Woods was originally selected by the Chargers in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft out of Baylor.
He led the Big 12 in interceptions as a senior with six and the Chargers took him a bit earlier than most analysts would have due to his elite speed and range for the position.
Since being drafted, Woods has played in 13 total games and has just eight total tackles to his name.
Dotson was signed as an undrafted free agent this past offseason out of Northern Colorado. He shined in the preseason, leading the team in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
