Breece Hall misses practice with Severe Suspension.
The Jets released their first injury report of the week following Wednesday’s practice, and running back Breece Hall surprisingly popped up with an ankle injury.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh didn’t mention Hall when discussing injuries prior to yesterday’s practice, which makes his absence all the more notable.
Hall was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday of last week due to a hamstring injury. He was listed as questionable for Week 13 but ultimately
suited up.
This is a different injury, however, and this one kept Hall sidelined. His status is worth monitoring over the remainder of the week and when Saleh speaks to reporters again. There’s a chance he’s unable to play on Sunday.
The Texans and Jets essentially attempted to build their organizations the same way. Both teams hired the San Francisco 49ers’ defensive coordinator to be their head coach and the 49ers’ passing game coordinator to be their offensive coordinator.
The Jets paired Robert Saleh and Mike LaFleur with No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson. The Texans paired DeMeco Ryans and Bobby Slowik with C.J. Stroud. The rest is history.
For that reason, it should come as no surprise that the Texans’ roster has a number of former Jets on it.
The most obvious is the recently signed Adrian Amos, who was released by the Jets this week. Amos could make his Texans debut this Sunday against his former team.
