Los Angeles Chargers Report Score Predictions as Bolts stay in Playoff Contention.. view more…

The Los Angeles Chargers are playing an important game when they take on the Denver Broncos. Despite being fierce divisional rivals, both teams are vying for a playoff spot.

The game may not feel as though it’s a playoff eliminator, but whoever wins will have a much clearer shot at the postseason. The Chargers Report staff have now broken down who they think will win this tense battle.

“The past couple of matchups have not disappointed, especially at Sofi and I don’t see why these teams would give us anything different on Sunday. The Broncos five-game win streak came to an end last week, while the Bolts ended their three-game losing streak last week. The Chargers defense may have found something in the last two weeks, making it tough on their opponents to put points on the board.

This game will come down to a final drive, and whether it’s on Justin Herbert to drive them down or the defense to get a stop, I’ll count on either one. Expect a ton of fireworks on the defenses for both teams.” Chargers 23 – Broncos 20 -Ricardo Sandoval “Chargers offensive woes from last week carry on this week, making it hard for them to go toe-to-toe with the Broncos.

That and Will Lutz is a difference-maker for the Broncos, which is backed by a scary defense.” Broncos 24 – Chargers 17 -Thomas Murray “The Denver Broncos enter the first of two meetings against your Los Angeles Chargers this season (they’ve also got a date on New Year’s Eve) riding high on a 5-1 record across their past six contests.

After the Chargers submitted one of the most deflating wins I’ve ever seen last week (a 6-0 victory over one of the league’s worst teams, the New England Patriots), I’m a little worried that the Bolts will struggle to score against, you know, an actually competent team. Somehow, LA is the (marginal) betting favorite by -2.5. I’ll say the Broncos win a sloppy one.”

Broncos 20 – Chargers 14 -Alex Kirschenbaum “What the Chargers did last week was impressive, despite the Patriots being an offensive mess. Shutting out an opponent is never an easy task, and even the upper-echelon AFC teams have not done do this season. The Bolts’ defense is coming alive at the right time.

Anchored behind the scary pass rush of Khalil Mack, they will do enough to stop the run game the Broncos have been producing, eliminating their greatest weapon.” Chargers 21 – Broncos 17 -James Brizuela Don’t forget to join our community at LA Sports Report, where we celebrate all things Chargers!
